Dr. Andrew Lee, B.D.S., D.M.D.

Dr. Lee believes everyone deserves to have a beautiful and healthy smile regardless of age, social or economical status with compassion.

He was born and raised in Mumbai India and received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Mumbai University. Upon graduating Dr. Lee joined his dad’s general dentistry practise in Mumbai. After moving to Canada, he pursued his dental degree at the University of Manitoba in 2006. Being an advocate of continuing education and advancing his skills, Dr. Lee completed a residency specializing in Conscious Sedation at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed a one year Maxi course in Atlanta, Georgia and has continuously updated his training and experience in implant dentistry and surgery in Florida, Mexico, and Nicaragua. Dr. Lee has particular interests in implant dentistry and conscious sedation.

His zealousness to learn and improve his skill has resulted in his earning these additional designation:

Mastership from International Congress of Oral Implantology
Masters from AMerican Academy of Implant Prosthetics

Dr Lee believes in staying healthy by working out, running, golfing, and riding his bike. He is a husband and proud father of 3 wonderful kids. His passion is helping people and that is reflected in the charity he supports: Ride to Conquer Cancer. Dr. Lee also is a strong supporter of the community and proud partner of Crime Stoppers of Niagara, Thorold Minor Hockey and provides discounts to seniors and students.

Dr. Brian Bergmann

Brian Bergman is a general restorative dentist with an affinity for endodontics and helping patients with occlusal problems.

He was born and raised in St. Catharines and went to Brock University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1970 he was accepted at the University of Toronto Dental School. He was the first Brock student to attend U of T’s Dental School. Following his graduation, he practiced in St. Catharines with Dr J. Miles for 6 years. In 1980, he set up Garden City Dental and managed the practice until 2006, when he sold the practice and moved to Toronto. He engaged as an associate in practices there. In 2013, family obligations drew him back to Niagara, and he has been an associate at Pine Street Dental since then.

Over the years, he has been a constant learner, attending many courses. He has attended courses at the prestigious Pankey Institute (known world-wide for its advanced post-graduation education) where he achieved Level 4. He completed courses at the Academy of General Dentistry, and attained the professional recognition levels of Fellow and Master.

Dr. Bergman is an expert on lilies (Lilium) and is an accomplished lily grower and hybridizer. His hybridizing field is Lilycrest Gardens, and is located in St. Catharines. He has received recognitions awards for his hybridizing advances, and participates in lily shows as a senior judge and at garden clubs and horticultural societies as a speaker.

Dr. Saniya Zafar, B.Sc., D.D.S.

Dr. Zafar is committed to empowering patients toward improving their oral health through education and prevention, as well as using her experience and gentle touch to provide comfortable dental care.

Dr. Zafar grew up in Michigan, where she spent 8 years in Ann Arbor obtaining her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from the University of Michigan. During her training, Dr. Zafar was chapter president of the American Association of Women Dentists, and enjoyed participating in volunteer opportunities, such as Give Kids a Smile day. She moved to St. Catharines in 2014 to join her husband, after which she became a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association and Niagara Peninsula Dental Assocation.

Dr. Zafar is bilingual (English and Urdu), enjoys working on patients of all ages and aims to provide the best treatment recommendations based on each individual’s needs. She is dedicated to continually seeking knowledge and keeping up to date with the newest dental technology and materials.

Outside of clinic, Dr. Zafar can be found spending time with her husband, as well as the two little men in her life who call her “mama.” She enjoys movies and board games, loves to travel and is a big brunch enthusiast. Being creative is a passion for Dr. Zafar, whether that be through home decor, party planning or various art workshops with friends. This creativity translates to her love for the cosmetic aspect of dentistry as well, and Dr. Zafar truly finds satisfaction in seeing a patient thrilled with their beautiful smile.
